Care about water quality in our community? Help us reduce pollution entering our waterways and beautiful Kailua Bay and improve water quality. Street sweeping is one of the tools to reduce debris and sediment from entering our water. For years Kailua Neighborhood Board has been advocating for regular street sweeping of our streets to remove waste and sediment from entering stormdrains and our water. Your kokua is needed right now to help identify the best timings for streetsweepers to operate in our community. The locations include streets off the main roadways of Hamakua Drive, Keolu Drive, Akumu Street, and Downtown Kailua. Please click the link below to sign up and volunteer to monitor cars and traffic.
